The WILD conference will be held at the East Brunswick Hilton Hotel from Friday, March 19 through Saturday, March 20, 2010. Click here for the registration form and an event brochure.
Participants at this year’s conference will hear from national AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Elizabeth Shuler who will talk about the program she is heading-up to attract young workers to the labor movement. Assembly Speaker-Elect Sheila Oliver is confirmed to talk about her experiences in the state legislature and the key to her success as an accomplished leader.
Also confirmed for WILD will be Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. and an insurance company representative from CIGNA who will both provide their expert perspectives on what health care reform will mean to you and your families.
There will be two workshops where conference participants will learn about the power and benefits of mentoring as well as have the chance to understand how to use new computer technology and social networking tools.
We look forward to an informative conference and having you join us this year. If you have any questions please contact New Jersey State AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Laurel Brennan at (609) 989-8730 or via e-mail lbrennan@njaflcio.org.
